HN Previewer: Save Time with Article Summaries
HN Previewer is a free Chrome add-on developed by Bill Zito that aims to save you time by providing summaries of Hackernews (HN) articles before you click on them. With HN Previewer, you can quickly glance at article summaries without having to open each article individually.
By simply clicking on the (P) icon, you will be redirected to Hackernews and presented with a summary of the article. You can then decide whether you want to proceed and read the full article or move on to the next one. The add-on also allows you to toggle the summaries on and off by clicking the (P) icon again.
The latest version, 1.0.9, brings several improvements. The front page is now loaded every 10 minutes to speed up the initial load time. Additionally, a loading bar has been added to indicate the progress of loading the summaries. Clicking on the (P) icon not only brings you to Hackernews but also toggles the summaries on and off. For articles without summaries, keywords are provided to give you an idea of the content.
Save time and make your browsing experience more efficient with HN Previewer. Try it out today and easily preview Hackernews articles before diving in.
